Go from Good to Great in Ten Easy Steps???

After settling into our new hotel the players woke up to a traditional Scottish morning, wet and cold. The group travelled into the City Centre of Edinburgh for some sightseeing before heading out to Heriot Watt University where Heart of Midlothian has their Training Centre.
The tour continued to the North East of England, with the squad settling in to the picturesque surroundings of Durham where our hotel was located on the banks of the River Wear overlooking Durham Cathedral.
The biggest shock to the system when disembarking at Manchester Airport was the weather, shock horror...well it was mid 20's bright sunshine and never before had there been a warmer day recorded in October! This will never last!
Over the past few months we have spoken with several players, parents and coaches who are unfortunately finding themselves in increasing difficult situations. With young players losing their love of the game through fear of losing, to parents becoming frustrated at the lack of game time their child is getting and finally the coach trying to come up with the right formula to WIN!
Head of Exercise, Health and Sports Psychology Professor Sandy Gordon welcomed Pro Football Training along with 240 Coaches, Parents and Players to the John Bloomfield Lecture Theatre at University of Western Australia.
