DT38 Foundation

Hosted by Daniel Garb this exclusive and special event is to raise funds for the Dylan Tombides Foundation which was set-up to raise awareness of the risks of testicular cancer in memory of talented professional footballer Dylan Tombides who lost his life to testicular cancer aged 20 in 2014.

Specifically, the funds raised from this event will be used to assist the distribution of a new picture book and teaching programme to be implemented into the Australian education system along with the delivery of our community-based testicular cancer awareness programs. The event includes pre-dinner drinks, a five star three-course meal, beers, wine and soft drinks included. Tickets are priced at $275 with tables of ten available for $2,500.

It was an honour to welcome the DT38 Team to one of our PFT Training sessions at WA Athletics Stadium which was the official launch of the partnership. Mark Lee received the great honour and was named as a DT38 Ambassador by Dylan’s Mother, Tracy-lee. The players then played a DT38 small sided games with Taylor joining in and making sure everyone in attendance had an amazing night.

In December we ran a hugely successful 4v4 Futsal Tournament at Lords Sport and Rec Centre in Subiaco with 1500 people attending. It was a day of fun and fast paced futsal action with children and parents enjoying watching young people playing a game they love in a dynamic, positive and fun environment. Dylan’s story was spoken about during the presentations as well as PFT player Luca Cardosa who always lost his life to cancer. An emotional day for many as we remembered these 2 amazing young people.

Each player received a DT38 drink bottle as well as t-shirts, hats and DT38 packs to the winning teams. We look forward to the December 2017 tournament with great anticipation.

December 2015 Street Tournament

Our January, April and July Clinics were a huge success with over 2000 children attending. During these sessions we speak about Dylan and his story. The children respond with intelligent questions and it is amazing to see what a positive impact the DT38 Foundation has on everyone.

In October we are embarking on our 4th England Tour and look forward to spending time at West Ham Utd. Dylan’s amazing journey has inspired everyone and we know this will only continue to grow.

We look forward to working alongside DT38 for many years to come.
